This multi-talented rapper/songwriter, performer and vocal engineer has a reputation for his humorous writing style and A-class cadence.
G-TECH 2bit has worked with the likes of Focalistic, Mochen, Eddie Soul, Freddy Rose and AB Moch. He was part of a duo called SurfBoyz from 2017, and in 2022 he dropped his first ever solo single, which received love from fans all round.

How long have you been making music?I started making music in 2013 without releasing any of it professionally. From 2016 I started doing it on a professional level. So technically it’s been eight years.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would you choose and why?One of my dream collaborations has already happened. I’m yet to release it but I would love to work with Joda Kgosi, 25K, Marcus Harvey, Nanette, Mashbeatz and A-Reece. I’m a big fan of their music and I feel like they can add an element I lack.
What is your proudest achievement to date?It has to be working with Focalistic. An artist of his calibre? That’s arguably the biggest artist in the country right now and he didn’t even take longer than 5 hours to send me the verse back. He was fresh from Cotton Fest and hopped on the beat immediately. I respect his work ethic. He deserves to be in the position he is in.
Which artist is, in your opinion, is the GOAT?Damn, if we are talking about every genre, I have to give it up to DJ Maphorisa for his longevity. I’ve seen him play one time and I couldn’t believe that his DJ sets only include songs that he produced or the songs he is involved in, if not his own. I couldn’t believe the catalogue.
What can we expect from you in the coming year?I’ll be bigger than I am right now, that’s for sure. But expect consistency and a whole lot of music. We flooding the nation and hopefully the whole world.
