Mac G is reported to have started his music dj career way back when he was still in High school.
His love for live entertainment led him to learn how to mix records in front of a live audience of his local school.

He started branching out in the audio industry and ventured into radio broadcasting where he hosted a youth show called craze on eTV from year 2000 to 2006
Mac G then switched to a community radio in Joburg City where he did a top 40 show that came once a week on every Saturday.

He then later got hired at YFM, a radio station based in Guateng, where he hosted different shows at different times of the day throughout the duration of his stay.

He was a radio dj for a while before he got fired when he made a contriversial statement about the gay community including making fun of his then producer Junior Dikwa.

In 2010 Mac G joined 947, one of Joburg’s number one hit music stations.
He hosted weeknights from 10p.m to 1a.m everyday and a dance show, 947 Bloc Party, every saturday from 6 – 9p.m

In 2018, he quit working for the station and started his own podcast show called Podcast and Chill with Mac G.

This time round he chose to bet on himself and create his own media house.

Podcast and Chill with Mac G is what he has been working on since 2018.
In the podcast, he is interviewing and having a conversation with various artists and personalities in South African entertainment scene.

Mac G has featured big artists in the game including Big Zulu, Nasty C, Zola 7 among many others.
